Betty White On SNL: Golden Girl Lights Up Ladies Night (VIDEO)

Congrats, internet! We did it! The Betty White episode in the books and seeing her grace the Studio 8H stage was a delight. And joining her for the momentous episode was a murderers' row of amazing SNL women: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Ana Gasteyer, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, and Rachel Dratch.

The show was filled with highlights right from the start. The cold open featured Betty in the recurring "Lawrence Welk Show" sketch - always a showcase for the female cast members. And seeing all the ladies together, surrounding their comedy godmother was a fitting way to kick things off.

Betty then came out for her monologue, getting her much deserved spotlight. While she was thrilled that Facebook was to thank for the special night, she proceeded to rip on everyone's favorite time-waster. "In my day, seeing pictures of people's vacations, was considered a punishment." Gold.

As anyone who reads HuffPost Comedy regularly knows, we're not shy about our love for both Betty and Tina Fey. Needless to say, the census sketch was awesome, with White nailing the role of crazy resident. It gave Christopher Walken's classic a run for its money.

And one more you. Why not? Molly Shannon and Anna Gasteyer were back, so obviously it'd be weird if they didn't reprise their double entendre wielding NPR hosts. Betty joined them and got in on the action, showing off her tender muffins.
