Ringo Starr is putting up his 3,192 square-foot Aspen-area home on the market for $4.5 million. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

The 23-year-old home is well-nestled within approximately 16 acres on the Roaring Fork River. Starr and his wife Barbara have owned the home since 1991, but have been using it less recently, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The home is being listed by Joshua Saslove of Joshua & Co., who has not posted the listing on-line in accordance with his clients' wishes.

Saslove told AOL that the property is unique because of its proximity to the river. "The home is special because it has so much river frontage. It is a little ranch out by the river," he said.

The home located in Woody Creek, near the former home of the late Hunter S. Thompson.
