Emily Gilbert: Bob Filner 'Did A Little Grab On My Derriere'

9th Filner Accuser: Mayor 'Did A Little Grab On My Derriere'

A ninth woman has accused San Diego Mayor Bob Filner of sexual harassment, claiming the scandal-plagued official "did a little grab on my derriere."

Emily Gilbert told San Diego's Fox5 about an uncomfortable incident between herself and the mayor at a fundraiser.

“He grabbed me a little too tight, then proceeded to slide his hand down my arm and then did a little grab on my derriere,” Gilbert said. “I didn’t want to make a scene there were kids around.”

Gilbert's husband Jason said he didn't know what to do when he found out about the incident.

“What was I going to do, he’s the mayor,” Jason Gilbert said.

The couple said they aren't looking for money but they "think the mayor should make a donation to a woman’s cause" and "needs to resign."

Filner, who has never received state-required sexual harassment training, apologized for his actions but has refused to resign. In a July 26 press conference, the mayor said he would enter "a behavior counseling clinic to undergo 2 weeks of intensive therapy."
