It looks like "Dexter" has finally had enough lumberjacking.

Michael C. Hall is officially making his return to TV in Stanley Kubrick's "God Fearing Man" miniseries. Hall is reportedly set to star in the show and executive produce.

The series is like a real-life version of "Breaking Bad." It is based on the true story of a Canadian minister named Herbert Emerson Wilson who turns to safecracking and becomes one of the "most successful American bank robbers in the early 20th century," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The project has been in development since 2012 by Entertainment One. On the casting of Hall, eOne's executive vice president of U.S. scripted television, Michael Rosenberg, said, " We cannot be more pleased to have Michael on board, who has time and again demonstrated an uncanny ability to portray captivating characters who must grapple with fundamental internal struggles."

Since his hit Showtime series ended, Hall has stayed busy working in movies and Broadway, and, you know, chopping down trees, apparently.
