Teresa Cooper

Teresa is a wife, mother of two boys, educator, autism advocate, blogger, and avid reader.

Teresa is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Psychology and minor in Creative Writing. She is also licensed to teach special education, middle school language arts, and mathematics and has been teaching for 9 years. She recently received a Master's of Science in Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment as well as gaining National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Mathematics. She is a wife, mother of two boys, blogger (http://embracingthespectrum.com), and writer for The Educator's Room. Her oldest son has autism, and she is dedicated to spreading a message of acceptance and awareness of autism.
