Disturbing Supercut Shows Trump Repeatedly Defending Men Accused Of Crimes, Misconduct

The president often leaps to the defense of men when they're accused by women.

President Donald Trump has stood firmly behind Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh despite sexual assault allegations.

Rather than express sympathy for the accuser, Trump on Tuesday said he feels “so badly” for Kavanaugh, who he called a “great gentleman.”

“I feel terribly for him; for his wife, who is an incredible, lovely woman; and for his beautiful young daughters,” Trump said. “I feel terribly for them.”

As MSNBC’S Katy Tur pointed out, Trump has a history of rushing to the defense of men accused of assault, abuse, misconduct and more, standing by Corey Lewandowski, Roger Ailes, Roy Moore and Rob Porter. And he’s often used similar words to defend them.
