The Dem Debate on Obama's Fox Turn
Obama's appearance on The O'Reilly Factor revived the roiling debate among Democratic strategists, Obama aides and liberal bloggers over how to handle the cable channel.

The Republicans have gone beyond lying. Bush and Cheney have been great liars, really, the best. Rove has made a career, and even a philosophy of lying about everything. But there is a special cold villainy to the way they have taken it to the next level now.
O'Reilly: First of all, the folks want to know... Have you read my latest book?
What could Obama have possibly been thinking when he told Bill O'Reilly that the Iraq war surge is not only working but working beyond his wildest dreams?
Barack Obama will appear on The O'Reilly Factor on Fox News tonight. John McCain cancelled his interview with CNN. That sums up all you need to know about either candidate - and, in a nutshell, explains why Barack Obama will win the White House on Nov. 4.
What a bizarre week for Obama to mount a counter-programming effort. He has the RNC and Hurricanes Gustav and Sarah. It's going pretty well for him -- not that he has all that much to do with it.

Did you see Barack Obama go on The O'Reilly Factor last night—right into the belly of the beast? While we didn't want Obama to a...
Once, Fox thought it had the market cornered on over-the-top populist outrage. No more. Hence the logic to the idea that Olbermann must be destroyed.
How dare this white man with a microphone and the trust of the public think that in 2008, he can still put the words "lynch and party" together in the same sentence with reference to a black woman?
No need to listen to or watch O'Reilly today. One need go no further than this clip from last month to discover what Bill really thinks of Tim Russert and his credibility.
While consumers of most news outlets scored poorly on the test, a separate question revealed that a vast majority believe they follow national news closely.
O'Reilly claims that Barack Obama is boosting the sales of Obama Nation, the number one book on this week's New York Timesbestseller list, because he won't come on The Factor.
An "O'Reilly Factor" producer cornered PBS's Bill Moyers at a conference on media reform this weekend, leading Moyers to demand an unedited interview about Iraq. Angry journalists piled on.
It seemed that most of the clearly biased shows on cable news had been publicly outed as such, but viewers learned there was yet another conservative Republican show:Election Center with Campbell Brown.

"Our guys" on the Democratic campaign are too timid to really hit out at the Republicans when, frankly, the targets are so bloody easy. I mean, just their documented lies and self-contradictions *alone* would make a meaty -- and often hilarious -- attack ad.
And yet the best we can get Obama/Biden to do is say that someone is "out of touch" and make a tepid joke about "eight is enough." Eight is Enough? REALLY? Obama, do you really think the kids who support you even know what that stupid sitcom WAS? Do you really think that's a good attack?
You don't have to smear. You don't have to lie. All you have to do is what you should have been doing all along: speak truth to power. Show their lies and hypocrisies. Hell, you don't even have to have your own positions (and that's good, since it seems like you don't). Just show how insane the bizarro-Republican fantasy world is. That should be enough to sway anyone whose mind isn't already made up (which, to be honest, are the only ones who matter).
TV hosts and radio broadcasters may prefer to look into why we are not able to have the privilege of FREE ENERGY
I have included the website of a Utube video as shown on Sky news Australia. The inventors on this website are not the only people who have managed to realise Nikola Tesla's invention. If you are interested in the zero point energy I reccommend Thomas Reardon USA (often maligned in the internet- however in my opinion he has the intregrity of Paul Skinner as I have observed in the BBC interviews) to enlighten the relaity of this reality.

I have also sent this information to Al Fayed and Mahindra Motors in India, Rio Tinto Chairman Paul Skinner and Prince Charles and if I could find Carlos Ghosn (Nissan Motors ) I would also send this to him
I am only hopeful that someone will be able to investigate why and how we are not able to be afforded this amazing energy source.
Warm regards and many thanks

Here is your problem: McCain has both the MSM and their best provocateurs running his campaign, while Stewart has to donate material far better than the Democrats use.
why hasnt this been made a democratic campaign ad yet? they shud just gobble this up.
I don't know whether it's really funny or really disturbing that The Daily Show (and to a lesser extent The Colbert Report) has provided some of the toughest, most on-point and best reporting of this campaign.
I'm not so much referring to this incident in particular as the ish on McCain ("Reformed Maverick") from this past Friday.
