Coulter's job is to inject into the Republican echo chamber racist words that would be unacceptable anywhere else, and she's now given away the far Right's anti-Obama strategy.

Last night I remembered how awesome it is that my dad is Brian Williams. I could not be prouder to share genes, a last name, love for SNL, and many other things with him.
I may be biased, but I find my dad to be one of the funniest people I've ever encountered. His sense of humor is dry, clean and smart; everything you would not expect from a traditional Network Newscaster.
There's nothing wrong with Brian Williams. He is a smooth, professional news anchor. He's not offensive, biased or fake. He plays it straight - and that's his problem.
The near-complete blackout on the Pentagon propaganda story, self-imposed by the culpable news organizations, is a despicable abdication of their role as a constitutionally protected check on our government. Don't ask cliche questions. He is not like President Sarkozy and will not leave the interview. As long as you are not rude, he will respond to whatever you ask -- he actually enjoys it.
The context of reporting changes everything. If you were watching Brian Williams, you'd be popping the champagne corks. If you were watching Jim Lehrer, you'd be contemplating moving to Costa Rica.
Williams is likely to continue to obsess about two issues throughout the interview: Iran's nuclear program and Ahmadinejad's rhetoric on Israel.
More than any other event during the day, the two blue towers of light visible off the left wing of our aircraft were as impactful in the darkness of evening as anything in a long day of remembrances.
Every four years there's some guy trying to get at us in the steamy back seat of his gas-guzzling muscle car. I say we keep our skirts down. You know the drill: Just say no.
No glove, no love in Philly: Obama and Edwards pile on Hillary, and Dodd and Richardson get in on the action. Elbows are out, gloves are off — and UFOs are real!
Anyone who read the newspapers with an ounce of common sense knew that the case for WMD was a sham. It's time for NBC and other major networks to come clean.
Either Obama or Clinton would be far better than Bomb Bomb McCain and his party of snaggle-toothed dinosaurs. But when substance is similar, style matters.
The most visible absence created by Russert's death -- the empty moderator's chair at Meet the Press -- may be an easier void to fill than Russert's behind-the-scenes expertise as DC bureau chief.
Please NBC, let Brokaw resume his status as elder statesmen and reminder to us all of a generation of newsmen who seemed to think that they were better and smarter than their viewers.
Even if you don't support Mike Gravel, surely you can see the danger of allowing corporate media giants to narrow the national political discussion.

Yesterday, during the afternoon, the networks were reporting that Stephanie Tubbs Jones had died, when she was still alive.
It must be the "you heard it here first" mentality. Very sad.
I'm relatively sure that when Springsteen finds out about this, he'll dedicate the said song to Phelps. http://mespace.wordpress.com
It takes a big man to admit his mistakes, even more so when also writes a public apology for it. Good for you.
When is this page going to be updated?
"Sorry" is never good enough because blowhard authoritarians never shut up. It's better just to not say anything, or if you have to spin your way out with a non-apology. Welcome to Cheney's America.
