The Ridge/Lieberman Fake-Out
I so hate to bust up this party, but do listen up: It ain't gonna happen. No way, no how. McCain is borrowing a technique from a guy named George W. Bush.

Ask any homeowner how many houses they own and they'll probably answer correctly -- or, if they're crazy rich, they'll at least answer within the margin of error (+/- one house). Ask Sen. Obama and he'll probably answer correctly (one). Yet Sen. McCain simply couldn't remember. McCain is showing the signs of being too old for the gig, and his recent history of forgetting things (whether simple details like the number of houses he owns, or more complicated facts like Sunni vs. Shia) ought to be the source of some serious panic inside the Republican loop.
There has been an amazing confluence of events, and If McCain survives the last 24 hours, I'm not sure what it will take to stop him.
Corsi's success represents the apotheosis of a long, strange trip from the farther shores of the right into the national spotlight.
The huge variability between different states makes it very hard for any candidate to run on a coherent economic platform that has national appeal.
History doesn't just repeat itself. For Democrats it's more like a broken record. Once again the party's blowing a healthy lead by being reluctant to engage its opponent.
On the air I want the sort of Viagra-fueled maniacs conservatives have on the front lines, not a bunch of impotent lefties who couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag.
The Dark Knight ends up in much the same place we finds ourselves today. Bereft of a clearcut hero. Having narrowly survived a assault against our essential selves. And wondering what comes next.
I can just see McCain now with that creepy grin saying: "The Democrats had a royal battle over whether to pick a woman or an African American. We've got both."
So what's going to go wrong at the ballot box this year? What ever happened to those good ol' punch cards and Diebold electronic voting machines?
Thanks to the new GI Bill, hundreds of thousands of troops sitting in Humvees and walking the streets of Iraq can afford to dream bigger dreams.
There are fundamental differences between McCain's and Obama's positions and fundamental differences about the prospects for the future between President McSame and President Obama.
Obama has slipped below the magic 270 number for the first time since he became the Democratic presumptive nominee, and McCain has just about caught up with him.
During her battle for the nomination, Hillary kept her controversial, disaster-prone brothers, Tony and Hugh, under the thickest of covers.
Virtually all policy makers involved in economic policy subscribe to a particular economic doctrine, even if they may not be aware of which "camp" they are in.

For people who are Dems and might be worried about some of the Dems backyard,
don't worry too much....mabey it's about time we start seeing how all these people live.
They should even start a weekly show to expose one leader at a time, how they live etc.
Nothing wrong with being rich.
But living la vie da loca in McParis's Palaces while demanding our troops stay in Iraq
for Mission Impossible and Neverending is a crime.....Rezco is nothig compared to McPrincess.
Barack Obama needs to stop and think a little before he launches an attack on John McCain. All of the talk radio hosts are having a field day with the uproar from Obama's statement regarding McCain's seemingly innocuous slip of not knowing the number of houses that he owns. Instead of defending McCain they are mocking "the one" from his dealings with Rezko, his brother living in a tin hut, Obama's lack of charitable contributions, and the overall elitist comments Barack Obama has made. This was a can of worms that Barack Obama would have been better served by leaving unopened.
He remembers; he is just to embarrassed to give the info after he tried to paint Obama as out of touch with the working class. Didn't he forget to pay the taxes on one of his homes. Oh maybe he did forget. lol.
Hey, another one.
The McCain's own a $1 million......parking lot.
