Should Obama Have Picked Hillary As His Running Mate?
With Obama up in polls, the Palin narrative unraveling, and McCain embracing the mantle of underdog, events are starting to answer the question of whether Obama should have picked Hillary.

There has been virtually nothing on the Liddy-McCain relationship in the major newspapers and broadcast networks -- is Liddy any less a domestic terrorist than Bill Ayers?
It's something people of color face every day: you're a symbol to the world until you get famous enough that you're not.
All day, the Drudge Report, which has been more one sided than usual recently (lots of Bill Ayers, little Troopergate), has featured an interesting picture of Barack Obama.
"My buddies, what do we really know about John McCain? Why hasn't he told the full story of his past associates? Is he really, as some say, a Communist? Let's look at the evidence."
I truly think that some Americans are comforted by mediocrity. Even those who have been battered the most by the last eight years can be reticent to the idea of change, because they are told to fear it.
The President may be a "decider," but most decisions are made elsewhere in the bureaucracy.
Rather than rejecting his remarks as ''shocking and beyond the pale,'' McCain should have listened to Lewis, who is one of three people the Arizona Senator said he would "rely heavily on" if elected president.
Can it be that the magazine would take this position and do it twice in one issue, the current issue -- the very same issue in which it endorses Barack Obama for president?
Even I was surprised by the results of the just-released survey which found that only 18 percent of Americans "strongly believe" that is real, man-made and potentially harmful.
Ok, anybody got any other ideas? Ok I got one, I got one, how about you give a speech, and in the speech you say a bunch of nasty lies about Obama?!?
The main ploys the GOP will use to damp down minority votes on November 4th have drawn virtually no media attention.
The common theme seems to be that in both campaigns there is sometimes a disconnect between the candidates' personal campaigning versus what their campaign organizations are saying.
Once again, Brokaw's round table was a liberal-free zone. He concluded with the idiotic prediction game, John McLaughlin's gift to the game-show-as-phony-sophistication genre.
Like a computer that froze, the spin goes, McCain is rebooting everything, starting today.
The Obama-Biden ticket will work with law enforcement, gun violence victims, and ordinary citizens to make it harder for dangerous people to get dangerous weapons.

Name a Republican race since '64 that hasn't been based on fear, hate and racism.
Let's talk about reform. S@rah P@lin loves to use the word "reform."

David Gergen had it right when he said John McCain needs to REPUDIATE the angry hateful comments at these rallies. Amazing ... here's a compilation of some of the most eggregious of the last few weeks:

A Republican that repudiates hate loses the base.
I would like to see the behavior of Obama's people at a rally...not edited, not sanitized...plenty to see, believe me...
Needless to say, we have many bloggers behaving in ways as detestable as any of the rabid McCain supporters amongst Obama's supporters...I think both sides need to dial back the hate bigtime...it's not a one way street...hasn't been from the beginning...sometimes I think it is a contest between who can do and say the most repellent, hateful things about the other side...all of it is BS...STOP IT!
Really?
You've heard Obama supporters call for McCain's murder?
