Michael Alago, Photographer, Releases 'Beautiful Imperfections' Book Highlighting Masculinity (PHOTOS)

LOOK: New Book Highlights Muscles And Masculinity

Photographer Michael Alago has been using his camera to capture images of muscle men for years and his latest book, Beautiful Imperfections, remains true to his mission.

The half-naked men presented in the book pose and display their muscles as Alago showcases, as a press release sent to The Huffington Post notes, a juxtaposition of "tough vs tender, nature vs grafitti, beauty vs. beast." Beautiful Imperfections is believed to be the first ever to be photographed entirely using the iPhone Hipstamatic app.

Check out some images from the book below and if you like what you see, you can grab your own copy here.

If you're in New York City, you can attend a book signing at BGSQD with Mina Caputo on June 14 and on July 31 in Portland at Cock Gallery.
